Google flights is the platform I utilize to find the best flights and prices. This site offers visibility into all flight information without checking each airline platform individually. All you have to do is input a departure and arrival destination, and you can search all available flights across all airlines. Adjusting your search to the number of nights you’d like to stay will provide the most accurate prices. When the flight calendar showcases a green price, you know that the flight is lower than the average price to that destination, therefore getting the best deal. It has various filter options for the number of stops, travel time, airlines, times, and connecting airports if you are looking for specific criteria.
The site even offers historical data on the flight prices so you can know when they went up and down. It even recommends the cheapest time to book the flight so you can feel confident about the cost. If the flight you want is higher than you’d like to pay, you can select the flight and toggle the button “track prices,” and you’ll receive updates in your email on when the flight increases or decreases, so you don’t have to keep checking constantly.
If you’re not 100% sure where you’d like to travel to, that’s also okay! It allows you to search for a departure airport and tell you the cheapest flights to destinations worldwide. This way, you can let the flights decide where you want to go next! The visibility, ease of use, and filter options make this my favorite platform for booking flights.
